cloning 256

is there a way of dumping a subbed 256 lifting the chip? i can see some pads that look like 232 but theres 5 pins

if you want to know for educational reasons the chip you need to be concerned with is the 8 legged spi chip

i was just wondering as ive got one on hax that i cant get to talk to the network but if i put the same config on a sb5101 it runs fine

256 is spi flash, dont think your sb is

my sig is out of date i got a 256 subbed now. actaully reflashing 2100 as we type

i always use black cat to reflash most of my modems anyway

to do the 256 you need a spi progger

i still cant c how this wud work as in my area u put both online it knocks 1 off only 1 instance of the mac is allowed on any of there ubrs or is this just my area

no this is all ubrs afaik. my plan was switch one off turn other on see if it works then put it back as it was
