Default Unlocking an iphone 4?

Alright people, well firstly merry xmas to eveyone. Now to my question, Me mum has an iphone 4 which used to be her main contract phone. She thought the phone had been stolen,or lost. So she rang her network provider and cancelled the phone, which obviously blocks the phone. Turns out, she misplaced the phone which she's now found, Is there anyway to unblock the phone so she can use it again?

Cheers

yeah but not allowed to do it m8 so best advice i can give is sell it to some 1 for parts or sell it dont need to tell u who to just keep this in mind it will never work in europe again m8 u need to get it out the country then it works dont be fooled tho m8 they do great money even broke because the parts are exspensive also theres talk of summat else involving an imei change but that is extremely illegal and not every 1s cup of t best to sell as blocked

Cheers mate, appreciate it. Shame really cos its not like its stolen or anything, just cos she reported it, they sent her a replacement and obviously blocked this one.

8gb as well so can be used as an ipod. Still, ill flog it on ebay then i suppose.

Cheers

Thumbs up Re: Unlocking an iphone 4?

Once the phone has been lost / stolen it will always get barred once its been reported. if anyone actually thought that it will still be able receive and make calls then thats not going to happen.

If the fone is barred and you plan to list on ebay then make sure that you dont mention its barred and list it as Faulty instead otherwise you would be breaching the ebay Rules and Regulation and your listing will removed.

Alternatively if you planning to go abroad anytime soon then you better off taking it abroad as it will work there without any problems @ all.

By the way if you have found the phone you can call the network provider back up and they will unbarr / unblock the phone.

And yes changing IMEI number is illegal and not recommended in any sort of way. Then again we are alreay breaking the law anyway with TV side of things. lol

ratcatcher; yeah but not allowed to do it .
That is not true am afraid mate.. I know folks who have done it plenty of times and there is nothing wrong with that.

you are always allowed to phone back if you have lost the phone and managed to later find it. The network provider will Ubarr the fone.

No tried it they asked for it back.

i know how to get a no signal phone replaced every time your might not beleive it but it works as done it 6 times.
all you got to do if you have a iphone4 3g 3gs it has to still be in warrenty set up a exchange via apple care put fault keeps crashing multiple issuses they send you a box sent it to them 7 days later new phone arrives works every time.iv also been in to kingston apple shop with 3 iphone 4s on seperate accasions and every time they have swapped it for a new 1 and each time it has clearly stated no signal.
if you tipe faulty iphone on ebay there is people offering this service for 40-30 pound all they do is set up a repair or swap with apple care.so if you want it done free thats wat to do.if theres no warrenty then it wont work unless you pay apple £130 works every time dont ask me why it just does.
