Hi all, I have a neighbour that is drilling all the time and hitting the wall with a hammer, All day and night like from 12:00am 01:00am been 2 see him load of times but he still will not stop, what time can he do building work till ?? I WANT 2 GET HIM 2 STOP WITHOUT ME PUNCHING HES TEETH OUT AS I AM AT THE END OF IT NOW I HAVE GOT A 3 YR OLD GIRL AND A 30 YR OLD GF THAT IS SICK OF HIM...PLZ HELP

What an ar*e, knock at his door tomorrow and ask if you can lend his drill and hammer and then start drilling and hammering in the early hours....touche my friend

If he won't listen, may as well get official. Call the council. (Make sure you don't say anything threatening to him.)

thats interesting, have you asked what hes doing? shelves or diy or doing the whole house up?

im sure the law states that after a certain time noise has to be kept down.

personally id have shoved the drill down his throat by now but thats what its like where i live!

also round here its a case of you make noise i make twice as much and for twice as long.

what u can do is next time call the feds and tell them you think there is someone being tortured next door, do that over and over and im sure the police will tell him to keep the noise down eventually!

good luck with it mate, dont let it beat you into murder, well not yet anyway.

I would suggest that you report the matter to the Police and your local council for '' Noise Disturbance''

Doesnt what kind of noise it is but as far as I know / aware of it is that you can play loud music etc etc until 11pm and after that the law says you must keep it quiet / not Disturb.

Get your neighbour charged for Noise Pollution.

If I was in your shoes and my neighbour was taking the liberties like your one is doing well I would just put my Sub to full blast so that he can feel what it is like when you disturb people who want to sleep @ that time.

If I was you I would give him a taste of his own medicine. SImply blast your music / hammering your wall or even drilling @ 5am in the morning and see how he feels.

Then let he / she come to you and see what they have to say regarding it.

Am sure he / she wont be happy and this where you can get him to stop what hes doing and hopefully it could all end in ''peace'' rather then violence.
