Just had phone unlocked to any network, but I am just wondering is there a way that I can tell whether he also jailbroke the phone?????

i think u need to jailbrake the phone to unlock it for any network m8 not too sure dont have money for iphone lol

if its jailbroke you will generally have an app called cydia on there. (but not always)

yeah it could be jailbroken but the cydia app could have been deleted/hidden.

but agreed it would have to be jailbroken to do the unlock unless its factory unlocked.

I have the cydia apt on it, it was on when I got it back after having it unlocked....

But still not sure whether it is jailbroken or not....

You can use your iphone 3g to jailbreak your PS3, its hard to be honest

The reason I am not sure is because my phone as version 4.2.1 (8C148a) I am sure I read somewhere that it could only be jailbroked with a lower version.... I could be wrong though.......

Anyone shed any light on that??

lol either way if you have cydia your jailbroken, full stop. no question about it.

i suggest using cydia to install installous thats the app everyone uses for the free stuff these days.

but yeah IF YOU HAVE CYDIA YR JAILBROKEN.

doesnt matter about the firmware version they can jailbreak it after the updates come within a day or so.

ps where did you get it unlocked an by who? might have to get mine done,, what iphone is it ? 3g or 3gs?
