Default cable & sat servers

Just wondering, if private servers are available for HD combo on the sat side, why aren't they available for the cable side?
I would rather pay a small monthly fee to get glitch free cable and a box that isn't going to die in 12 months.

It is possible to use a Private or public server for cable on the HD Combo. It's just that there are very few public cable servers around and private servers are just that - private.

Any public server would have to compete with the free server.
