They are not providing that, or where does it state that the server is owned by them ? pure speculation the software is made by a third party so that keeps starview out of it.

so nothing to tie starview to anything other than selling FTA boxes thats it.

Hope you guys can help. I updated my box to 1.04 from 1.03 thinking it may iron out any bugs and I can find out the ''kill'' date. This would be approx. mid november, but it now says 2011-12-31 which is exactly a year from the date I updated. Now my question is did I mess up by updating; would I have had no ''kill'' date if I didn't update? or am I just lucky I got extra month and a half?

some of the dates have been wrong and they ahve extra time added.

my advice is : dont look a gift horse in the mouth!

i got 3 extra months if my date is right.

and i aint complaining!
