@ bruce ica, i think wot parricull means is judging by ur O.P and the partial event log u posted it would suggest that ur problem is not mac's but ur frequency if u have tried a shed load of macs to no avail then i would go back over ur very basic settings etc, do a default set or factory settings (or wotever it says and then go over ur settings again).

and if its still no good then you say u have 4 others working ok, so the simplest thing to do is to upload the non vol off one of ur working modems and test with a good mac and all shud be good, if still no joy and ur sure ur line is good and settings are ok then i would just reflash it. simple as that mucker.

btw wot modem is it

i get were your coming from. i only have the 4 to do which is my the mate the bro and my mas dont get me wrong a few months ago i could not keep one on more than a few days max but i found it was my macs and not the setting i find the older macs is the best for me anyways

i used default settings all i did in haxo was put freq in and changed bpi to 1.0
all needs doing there no speaical settngs that will get you on line

its all in haxo settings

freq all in and the page gives me operational, so i guess all is well but just need a working Mac for Trowell, Nottm, but thanks again for all your help.

Ilkeston worked in the past.

if your Configuration file on the main page says 416 that means it will work if it says 1172 means the mac is dead full stop

anyone point me to the hax settings for the 256, done a few webbys b4, but lost the pdf and dont know if there the same, its flashed with rev 39, but i think the guy who gave me them has been farting about with the settings himself, thanks in advance, cheers
