Default Upgrade

Hi I have £150 to spend on a upgrade, i use my pc for mostly for gaming alittle bit on video converting nothing big and normal day to day using.

My current pc is

AMD Phenom X4 9650 cpu
Abit A-N68SV Motherboard
4GB DDR 2

For

Asrock N68C-S UCC Motherboard
AMD Phenom 550 Dual Core Socket AM3 3.1Ghz Processor (black edition)
4GB DDR3 1333 Memory
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

I do what to unlock to quad core and look into overclocking.

What I am asking is am I wasting my money or does it same a good deal.

Cheers

Default Re: Upgrade

To be honest I would just upgrade the CPU and RAM if the motherboard you currently have is DDR3 compatible and your CPU fits. Some motherboards can set you back a few £££ so if you can, just try and only upgrade what I suggested.
