problems with my chipped N*L box - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi can anyone help me ? I have had my chipped box for about
12 months now and yesterday after switching it on all i
got was a zero on the box and says channels currently unavailable please check cables this i have done.
i have had this problem before and i solved this by going into the diag menu
and pressing services to re-tune and it worked but now im stuck because the guy who does my card has moved away. The smart card status says waiting.
I am guessing my card needs to be done again!!!
I would really like to learn how to set up my own card but would not know where to begin can anyone help me .

Go to gmail and download the mosc file with tutorial

Has you cable feed gone off, you would get BBC and ITV channels even with a dead card.
