Default Sony Bravia KDL-37EX503 USB problem

As the title says, I have a KDL-37EX503 TV and I watch videos from my USB memory stick on my TV.

This works fine however when I try to watch it from my external hard drive (Seagate Momentus 5400.2 60 GB), which I have converted to USB external drive using at extension, my TV doesn't read the files I have put on there via USB.

The TV reads the files from the internal hard drive, such as system32 etc.

Is there a way to access those files and folders structure, ie get to those files that you see in your internal hard drive, using my PC (I don't have a laptop).

I want to put files in my internal drive but I am using the above mentioned hard drive as external drive (USB). Is this possible?

Thank You.
