Starview 7 Home Streaming

Can you use your iphone (instead of a pc) to stream videos to a starview 7, if so how would i be able to do this. I saw another thread which contained iphone so it gave me this idea
And also can i put videos onto a usb and watch it on my SV7

yes to the last part,,, but depends on the format, some files will play some wont. should be fairly easy to find out which. if i come across a file it cant play i just watch it on the pc (connected to the tv). saves changing formats etc.
i use an external hard drive (1tb) to watch my downloaded/saved movies on the combo. i have about 350 gig of movies on there! i formatted it in fat32 as i both use oit for the ps3 and combo.
i would assume you would have to find home stream software for the iphone which might not be an easy task, it would have to have been made esp for that job and i doubt it exists!
but theres a mission for you, to see if it does and report back.

Ive found a app called air home video on cydia but it requires ver 4.21 or greater, im on 4.01, so i might give it ago later im not sure how it works. If your on that version give it ago
