Default Starview 6 - specific group of channels permanently missing. Transponder?

I have a group of channels permanently missing on my SV6. They are not even picked up by a scan. The signal is good and they appear on my subbed box.

The include Bravo, Comedy Central, BBC News 24 and I'm sure a few others.

I know how to use the box and have the latest firmware, I've tried factory resets, scanning without splitters etc - all the usual remedies.

From picking up on other posts I understand I may be missing a transponder. I don't know what this means though, or how I might get it back.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

That's those explained then. I did have Bravo 2 (or whatever it was called) missing for a while though, while Bravo wasn't being picked up. In fact the 'empty' Bravo 2 is still there.

Still have channels like News 24 and Comedy Central missing completely, so obviously have a problem.

I was able to pick up the missing channels on an alternative symbol rate to my usual (my usual being 6952).
When I went back to my usual and scanned again, although the signal for the channels was missing the frequency was there.
I then scanned the frequency manually at the maximum QAM rate and the channel was there when I exited.

Glad I got it sorted as I thought the tuner was knackered and it was heading for the bin.
