Default starview vs kv schoolboy mentality

hey everyone...

there seems to be a growing state of "my cable box is better than yours" building itself on the forum form some members.

i dont come here to read that my starview is crap etc etc i come here to help other users get and keep their boxes going and running well.

i just noticed some schoolboys arguing on a thread in the kv section and have asked the mdos to take action.

its time all this kind of rubbish stopped and we got back to the job (helping people) in hand.

if i see more posts directed towards the schoolboy mentality then ill be moving forums ,, been here a long time and its been a good clean forum where people can come and feel relaxed, if it turns into a rubbish ground for children to compare d*** sizes then im off!

im a member of loads of other forums and the mdos stop this kind of behaviour straight away.

its not wanted by me and i would assume a lot more of the members on here.

regards dave

I'm fully for a technical debate on the pro's & cons of each system but as for the rest, I agree with you. Pointless !

Must say though, I dont think the problem is as bad as you make out !

sad to say, i cant compare "sizes" or quality any more, 'cos i pay now.. but most complaints seem to be about when footy is on... i use my pc now for games, except espn, which is on my package, and most games are spot on, with the minor glitch here and there, so i dont think i personally would want ANY type of box at the moment... but where there's a "willy" there's a way!!!!

cool looks like people are taking notice!

lets keep the forum a friendly place where newbies can come and not feel intimiadated if they ask a stupid question and senior members are nbot bickering about how good their box is compared to others that paid more or less!

i know for a fact a lot of people buy a starview 7 as its £50 cheaper than the kv and £50 is a lot of money to someone that ahs pennies left to play with each week.
now that vat has gone up peoples spare cash is going to drop so i can foresee more starview users coming along!

id love to see a kv hd box come along soon rather than (as in the kv hd thread) loads of dates times for it showing up.

then if the kv doesnt have a die by date ill buy one but im addicted to hd so i needed a combo.

lol we are all friends in here so lets show anyone apssing by/thru thats the way it is.

GROUP HUGS?

lol

regards dave

This is not the football section, so your post has no place here. Besides which, bringing a comment like that out of the blue has no other purpose IMHO than to bait another member into an argument. That sort of behaviour is not welcome here.
