which modem m8 as there is only 1 for the ambits its 2.1.6 bootloader as the p option for 250\255 i have used it for ambit 200s too

lol, Not bicked the 100 times I've done one. Just asking this as I seen a Forum with it saying 3.?.?? is the best to use. Obv not.

Are you talking about 3.1.6d? I believe that is the Alex bootloader, you need to use the console unlock method or lift the TSOP if you have that bootloader because the "P" option is blocked on it.

once hax is on you never need to bother with bootloaders again really.

I suppose not and as you know, I have ran into the bootloader I mentioned many times and it took me days to try and find the right inject delay for each modem because in my experiences, each modem was different.

at one point i was able to use that exploit but then one day i just could not get it working. well, the exploit worked but softjtag didnt.

i got well annoyed with it and took to pullin the chip up everytime. i gave up with 250's and 255's and stuck to 256's
