hi everyone,,,, i have two hd tvs one downstairs and one upstairs, yeah u know im greedy.
i want to connect my sv combo to both boxes hopefully being able to use them at the same time, so one box to two tvs. i have tried two hdmi splitters so far and when i plug in only the tv downstairs its fine, but as soon as i plug in the longer upstairs hdmi cable the signal to the downstairs tv goes off. wierd thing is occasionally it will come back on for a second then go back off again, so what i have to do is unplug the upstairs cable to watch hd tv downstairs then when going to bed or if i want to use the tv upstairs i plug the upstairs cable in, ideally i want both tvs being fed the signal all of the time. but it seems using a hdmi splitter isnt working so im looking for others suggestions please. my next idea was using the hdmi for downstairs and component upstairs. anyone got any usefull info? done it yourself and found a good method? regards dave
