Default Starview 7 box Help!!!

Hi All

Was watching the cricket peacfully and got cheesed off with the box freezing now and again so I tried to upgrade to Carling 1.4 but this must be a duff image as now I can't see any channels or even search for them!!!

Please can you point me to a copy of Carling 1.4 as I suspect the copy I got was a duff one!!! and instructions on how I can ensure I do the upgrade correctly

Thanks

HI Thanks for the reply

I assume it is the CARLING-1.04-SV7.ups file.

I have download and copied to my USB and the option bootloader upgrade .. Is this correct

On reboot however when the auto search to find channels it says search completed with o tv and radio channels?

Curious hopefully someone can fill in the blanks.

On the last image Carling 1.3 image I have to setup ustream for the channels to clear m8y, press menu-select network and connect to ustream.

On the new 1.4 image it works without connect to Ustream unless it is done differently which surprised me somewhat

it could be that the update isnt as stupid as the last firmware and knows where you are or it used the settings from the last firmware.
could be wrong but thats what im guessing.
and i too looked for the ustream setting but couldnt find it but as the box worked figured it had been a bit more brainy then me!

regards dave
