Hi all i need 2 know how 2 get my v+box off hd mode as my little girl has pulled my tv off the stand and fooked it and i only have a old tv in bedroom with no hdmi port i have saw the post on this forum but cant remember where it was,I have been looking most of the day

i cant see the pic on the tv as its not a hd tv like the 1 that is fooked so i need 2 do it blind and try it that way, Or like some sort of way by holding buttons it can be done just need 2 know how as i cant remember where the post is...

Hold play and stop at the same time whilst booting the box, hold them for about 5 seconds. This should allow you to select the output (you should see "Output" on the front display), select SCART (or whatever output you want) and press OK. This method works with the SA8300 but i'm not sure if it works with the Samsung V+ boxes.

Hi how are you connecting to tv if with a scart lead it should still show picture on tv.
Ok give this a try Hold in the Stop and Play/Pause buttons on the front panel, and press Reset. Keep Stop and Play/Pause held in until the display says 'boot'. After a few seconds the display should say 'outpt'. Press the Fast Forward button several times until the display says 'Sd', then press OK. Wait for the V+ to reboot then you should be back in SCART mode. Last edited by Bandit1.3; 10-01-11 at 06:40 PM. |

plug your scart into the vcr socket and you should see picture to allow you to change settings
