How do you scan box

Hi all im starting to lose a few channels through my nokia dbox2 my service provider is virgin media and was told to re scan my box as this could do the trick but how do i do this as i,ve never needed to do it before. thanks

If you have a recent image, make sure your area is set and turn on the sectionsd background scan - it will find any new channels in the background automatically.

Lincsat what do you mean make sure your area is set,,,, how do i do that and where do i find the sectioned background scan....sorry for daft questions but im a very puzzled guy when it comes to this lol

It's different for different images.

Press the blue button and if there's a setmylocation button press that, otherwise press the advanced or blue button again. Find your location and set it.

From the main d-box menu, go into services and service scan, you should see an option for sections scan or background scan, make sure that is on and save all settings. The box will now scan in the background and find any new channels that appear.
