i would like to know is it possible to buy a cablebox and hook it up via wireless modem to watch cable channels???if sowhat channels wud i get and wat box wud be best for this, or even better is there any posts on the subject...totally newbie.

I think you must be lost mate this is not the cable section please post your question to it, and what you are asking has been answered many time in the forum use the search button it is a great little device you would be very surprised to discover what you will find using it.

No, you need a cable tv feed in from the provider.
