Widescreen Issue

Hi everyone. Great forum with loads of info.

I'm aware that there is an issue with the way the eurovox crops widescreen feeds. Does this issue exist with both the blue box 2006 and red box 2007 model and is there any chance it might be fixed in a future firmware release?

(I've got a Max 3 with the latest blue box firmware loaded)

if you use a samsung lcd tv you can change the aspect ratio on your tv and stetch the picture sive to fit the screen

I think its time I ditched the old cheapo CRT TV and invested in a decent flat screen

yea you have to use the letterbox setting and zoom on your tv, 2008 model is the same

Only problem if you do this, the epg, and eurovox screens are stretched off the bottom of the screen ! Bit of a pain!

i replaced my eurovox with a dbox2, much superior piece of kit, much better picture quality and proper widescreen output, also added mutimedia functions, excellent, recomend plug and play ones though
