Just got myself a dm500s. Help needed!

Hi guys, been trying to get my head round the info in the guides but to be honest im struggling a bit.
Ive managed to search the transponders and am able to view free to air channels, and ive also connected the db to my computer wirelessly via the router im just stuck with the image stuff and flashing etc.
Any help from you guys would be much appriciated.

to flash the box you would need a Null modem cable and if the box is a clone then avoid flashing it with Gemini Image.. Make sure you use a clone image.

As far as C/S is concerned you wont get any help in regards to that in this forum and you would need to google it.

a safe image for your box would be plijade3 for dm500s assuming its a clone and most probably is if youve just recently aquired it

ok i flashed evolution 2.7 using flashwizard pro 4.0 scaned for channels pick up most sky and free fta chans is there a epg that is anygood and what are bouquets for thanks.

Hi you are doing OK with the box, well done.

Google E1 settings and you will get a full settings list for your box. You will need to use dreamboxedit or dream set both will work to load the settings file to the box. In both you will need to set them up, you will need to enter your dreambox's address right and makes sure you have chosen E1, test the connection and if it is OK save it. Now you need to upload the file to the box, click on open in dreambosedit and navigate to where you saved the settings file, it might be a zip file so unzip it first. Now, in dreamboxedit you need to click on the FTP button it is at the top, and it will open a pop up window, at te bottom of that window there is a button send files to box click that and it will send the setting to the box, if it does not reset the box reboot the box manually and you should now have all the satellites, if you chose a motorised settings file and in there you will have favorites and all the bouquets.

Bouquets are the channels provided by a particular broadcaster on a satellite, like Sly de on 19.2 E, then you have the dutch channels on there also and the Spanish ones also, each one of these has their own bouquet, I suppose it is like saying this is the sweet flowers they have to offer.

thanks for all the help i seem to have all the chans now but for some reason fta chan not working ? and is there a way to slim down the lis so i just have 1 instance of each chan insted of 5 skysports1 chans and so on thanks in advance
