ive just upgraded to 50mb bb from vermin. they even gave me a new modem/router. now the problems start. it doesnt like xbox live so no worries ill put my old router in a dmz with my 360s on it. live now works. but ive now lost my media centre functions. ive looked into it and my 360s are on a different ip range to the rest of my network. is there anyway i can sort this routers in question are netgear wnr2000 and the netgear/vm superhub. i want both of my 360s and my pc to be able to play nicely like they used to but i also want to be able to make use of the nclass wifi in the super hub and g class wifi in my wnr2000. diagram explaining to follow

that is what i want to happen and it all work. the bent l in the top middle is my n class wifi laptop btw

put them all in the same ip range.

i have everything 192.168.1.1 onwards apart from the modem which is set to 192.168.100.1 by factory

configure the superhub to be an access point and not providing any routing functions. (not totally sure if its an option on this model) set its ip to eg, 192.168.1.2

the only gateway would be the router/modem combo ip

you'll have to set up statics for your devices and forward ports to those

i have statics up to 192.268.1.60 and dhcp from 60-110 (a pool of 60)

you will have to turn off the dhcp function on the superhub and have it access only for this to work. all ips will be assigned by the modem/router combo as this is the way it has to work now.

personally, im dreading the day i get a fault and they fetch me one of those combo things. i like my existing router which is not wireless but i have a couple of access points around the house

the new super hub doesnt like xbox live on more than one xbox at one time. so either i can play or my son can play but we play together in different rooms or my wife watches videos requiring signin while i play cod
