Default FTV Arabia 25.5°E

The three channels that were previously on 11001V 3571 3/4 have moved transponder and are now on 11006V 2200 3/4.

What is interesting is the marked increase in signal strength here, up from 45% to 65% on my SS2, the strength of Al-Sabah on 10996 remains the same at 45%.

In order to keep this accurate I've been corrected on the changes to these channels by someone who can blind scan. The frequency is the same as before, 11001 but the SR has changed to 2143. Obviously this is close enough to a stored transponder in my SS2 file that it locked onto it, sorry for the confusion. The increase in signal strength is as stated.

26E is a reasonable signal here, AFAICT I can get all the transponders off Badr4. BBC World is one of my markers for alignment as the dish is very sensitive to movement at this point of the arc so I spent quite a bit of time getting it right.

To save starting a new thread could someone confirm whether the transponder that carries FTV 11001V has gone off air or not? I use it to check things are OK here but I've not seen it for a couple days. Also missing is Al Sabah on 10996V although this is marginal to me so it could be down to the weather. I am still getting 11039V at good strength so I seem to be on the arc OK.
