Exclamation Help Pls, Compaq Presario c700

Hey guys, i m new here. Pls help me out. I m really stuck here.

I was just dissembling my laptop compaq c700 to clean out the dirt from the heat sink. i did it for the first time but did it correctly...or so i thought.
I did everything slowly and steady by removing the battery, hard drive, keyboard and then the top part of the keyboard where power on button is there. I then took out cd player. the LCD screen was taken out next by slowly unplugging only the thick wire on the left.
The three wires on the right weren't taken out.
I then So technically the lcd was still connected to motherboard. I then unplugged the fan and cleaned the heat sink and the adjoining area.
I assembled the whole laptop again the way is disassembled...

The problem lies that when i power on the laptop the normal boot up occurs and all the processes look normal except that LCD screen is showing nothing. Not even faint screen in case u think its backlight or invertor problem
I even connected the the laptop to external lcd but still got nothing....i m really stuck here..pls help me out.

Thanks for ur time.

Hi Mate,

Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop.

What I would do is take it apart again then, put it back together using this manual in reverse.

Hope this helps you
