just a question ...I like to know this if i want to buy skysports news only what company does this sky or freeview will it involed paying monthly or a year contract to have this channel.

If sky does this or someone eles will it involed a card that goes into the box.

used to be on f/view but sly lifted it months ago..its garbage anyway, probably get 30 mins of ads per hour...

get a sv7 itll work on one of them.

I am looking to buy the channels properly only want skysports news i sold my boxes as its no good to me.

How must would sky charge me for this channel i just want the channel with out a sky dish just want it to work it from a card.

you cant get the channel on its own anymore on Sly or virgin as they now do it as packages.. i.e kids., entertainment and so on.

check on there site for more info or call them.

I have just email them i been told i can buy the channel get bbc 1 and others channels free what we get on a freeview.

I am experiencing the same problem. All i want is Sky Sports News, but it seems that I need to get a very expensive sports package including sky sports 1 & 2 in order to get it. How did you overcome this problem? you emailed sky?
