Default Do I have to get another box from VM for this?

We are having a log cabin out the garden in a few weeks, We currently sub to the full VM package and have two V+ boxes in living room and bedroom, I want to have a box put in the cabin so the kids can watch the bloody cartoons in their if they want, If I contact VM for this I will get charge an installation charge and also a monthly fee of about £10, So was wondering what my options are? Is it worth buying a Kryptview or something or can I get one of my boxes cloned or something.

Yep as long as you have a good signal and an ethernet cable long enough why not choose another box, or swap them around and put the other box near your router.

No, but the other solution is to attach an external DVD recorder or a PVR if you want. We have a DVD recorder, with DivX support for recording.

I have a V+ box in lounge and standard v box in bedroom. I have split the signal from the bedroom box to a tv in kitchen using a powered HDMI splitter (bought from ebay). Obviously can only watch same channel on the box where signal is split. Cost approx £60 for HDMI Splitter and 10-15m of HDMI Cable, but cheaper long term than paying extra sub to Virgin. I wanted Virgin channels on the 3 TVs, but unlikely that all 3 TVs being used at same time so this was most cost effective option for me.

Cheers for the advice guys, I don't really want to split the signal from the box in room or upstairs as with 4 Kids in teh house their is a good chance that at some point the 3 will be in use, With the Mrs watching her crap soaps upstairs and when the sport is on, Masters now, But football normally the room is MINE. So the kids really are sometimes a bit stuck and with them having this enitre room to themselves seems a waste not to have it in their considering the package is costing me £90 a month.
