If you was SV, would you tell anyone your server just got raided and have people demanding refunds from you?

Burnt out card reader = time to either set up another or more likely figure out what to do next![/QUOTE]

Refunds......... theres not a hope in hells chance anyone will get a refund........ Starview sell the box FTA...... you meddle with the box and you lose any warranty...refunds dosent even come into the argument......

There's a big difference between the server and the uploader equipment. The server is the thing that all the boxes are connected to and is probably in the far East somewhere (China/Korea/Taiwan). The uploaders are the things that grab the raw ECM data streams and, of a necessity, have to be connected to a VM line so are obviously in the UK.

It is the uploader that was taken out in Ireland and very likely to be whats been taken out here.

The card reader story is obviously untrue. A little thought and a bit of understanding on how the system works would tell you that. Whoever came up with that particular story has no idea about how such things work.

So, once you accept that this cover story is an untruth you have to start asking what it is they are trying to cover up. I suspect if it was only a technical failure you would of got the truth (no point trying to cover one technical failure by lying about another) and as that is the case then you have to assume the worst !
