VM want to switch everybody over to the new overlay at some point so they can switch off Docsis1. This upgrade is only the first phases of that move which they seem to be trying to keep relatively revenue neutral.

I agree entirely. What they will not do is put people down to 10Mb which was the suggestion made by jack08.

I am on a 10 meg, and i was on the phone 2 them last night trying 2 get the super hub free, as its was £30 for the hub, and they are giving me it free as i asked him 2 ask hes boss if i could have it free... so i will get the hub in about 7 to 10 days.... But even if you cant ge6t a free hub its worth £30 as you get 30meg for the price of 20meg....
