Default Analogue from sky to PC with Digital TV card

Hi all,

First off, sorry if this seems dumb!

I'm wheelchair bound and have a special extension on the house. The Sky (normal!) is in our living room. I've had a standard aerial connection put in the extension (I live in there a lot!) and hooked it to my PC, which has a Digital TV card fitted in a PCI express 16 slot. I know that the RF2 output from Sky is analogue (I've turned it's power on in the installation menu). I can get Freeview, but all my favourite Discovery channels are on SKy. Can I buy an analogue USB tuner stick and plug that in the PC with the Digital card still installed and then get the best of both worlds. Or should I get a hybrid 'stick' - just seems a shame when the TV card is fine?
Any advice if it would work would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, as an aside, I'm not paying out for Multiroom at £10 a month - my viewing is in the small hours, due to my condition, and the rest of the family are all fast a kip!
Cheers and thanks

Yes it should work. Assuming that you can find an analogue TV stick, and possibly not try and run them at the same time.

Many thanks for swift reply.

Assuming it was oK to do, my plan would be to set up the 'dreaded' Media Centre to watch analogue (Sky) on the USB and seperately use the suppled 'Pinnacle' software to watch digital on the Internal card, just switching the RF feed to each one as required.

Again many thanks
