Firstly, if you've paid through Paypal, file a dispute from your Paypal account of goods being defective. If prompted for more information, state you were offered a discount code for Sky that turned out to be invalid. Unless the buyer can absolutely prove product/service was legitimately delivered in full and good working order without defect, expect Paypal to side with the customer complaint. If you paid instead by Credit Card, contact your credit card company, state you did not get the goods delivered that you paid for, and they will file a chargeback - ie, you get your money back from the seller, or whatever system the seller was using. In both instances, where a customer gets a forced refund from the seller, the seller will be charged in addition to the refund. Also Sky usually run decent promotions though their website - Sky seem to measure success in terms of subscriber numbers, so they usually offer very good deals to brand new customers to Sky in order to inrease the number of subscribers.

Just out of interest, i not sure about this but maybe i might be able to help.
Do you know if this person was is from kirkcaldy. Reason i ask is someone from scotland ripped members off another forum i am on and we gatheredround and dealt with him, we got police involved, did our own investgation work and he was charge on numberous offences. I have and can get all emails, previous address inc names of this peron IF it be him so can help. Maybe a shot. What i would suggest is that the mods open a private thread only invite so incase this person is looking, this is what we did. Anyway just an heads up bud

I posted this in another thread if anyone can help me out
Peeps, I got the 12 months half price last year and runs out on the 27/03/11 Do I need to get a code an start as new in my wife's name or can I use a code if some kind person could give me one for an o2 discount 30% off to resign. Oh an to prove I work for o2 - it's not a code it's a internal form we fill in with the details of the account that wants the discount PM I've still got about 10 F&F left we get 20 And if you really want, I could sort a better deal then add the discount. I work in retention ;0) |
