I have a sneaky feeling they might just wait a few months and release boxes under a new name, they already tried it with euroview and ddigital duo. Then again vm may now know how many boxes have been sold and be pressuring kudelski for a countermeasure to prevent large scale fraud of their tv service

your first post is right. it will be nagravision that will try and stop the c/s as thye did in the usa with the device they where useing (forget the name off it and couldn't be arsed looked) but there's plenty postd about the net if u want to look. same as sly it will be there provier that will try and come up with counter measures. im sure they could come up with a few. may be like make next card pairing methold harder.

nagravision is the encryption... kuldelski is the provider.

As far as Kudelski are concerned VM are small fry so I seriously doubt that VM will be able to exert much in the way of pressure. Far bigger providers have had this CS problem for much longer without much in the way of a viable counter-attack.

If the CAM was going to be changed (unlikely for a whole host of technical reasons) then it would of occured long before VM rolled the system out.
