Default Life after Starpoo

Being 1 of many poor starview owners, I'm guessing we're just about done with regards to ever getting a server again.
I have a HD combo, so it's still good for sat and won't feel bad sticking it on eBay. I can't have a sat dish on my building, so not an option.
I know no one has definitive answers, but I really want HD,
I can wait a month or so if it's worth waiting for a new Kryptview with HD and PVR, how likely is that going to be?
How are the Kryptview servers holding out as they are now the sole supplier of free cable across the UK.

Cheers guys.

How can the server still be ok for HD, it's not even connected to a server. As for only the UK being down, well, I'm in the UK! Are you talking about kryptview servers?

The krypt team are said to be bring out an HD box but i wouldn't hold my breath for seeing it in a month.

As to a PVR function that I would also question. Prehaps a USB out but internal disk.. cant see it.

thanks ulrich,
USB out would be fine, that's what I'm (was) using with the HD Combo.

Would love to get an answer on a KV HD, but from what I've read, so would a lot of people!
For now, I've got freeview and torrents for my fav HD programs, lets see how long I can wait it out until I have to order an A780.

Without the upload server + 20+ cards to run it dont matter about the other server running or not, i would seriously doubt that will be running anytime soon, looks like another Ireland and people there still thinks its going to come back even after 8mts.

Question for people, If someone was to ask you to take a sub out and give them your card to use in uploader server, would you give it to them after what happened!! .............. mmm ....... now lets see how many would do this.
