Hi All
Just got thea780, started to flash then realised havent got the usb adaptor.

can u kindly tell me, if this is the correct one
USB 2.0 TO RS232 SERIAL DB9 9 PIN ADAPTER CABLE FOR GPS on eBay (end time 12-Mar-11 10:18:33 GMT)

Sorry I didn't tell the full story...
I have the rs232 null modem cable supplied with the box, but my laptop hasn't got the 9 pin socket to connect it with the box...so the adaptor

- USB to 232's can be very very flaky [ drivers / Operating system ] issue
- there's been a few on here lately where the even the seller shipped the wrong [ non-null ] rs232
- have you a scrap old PC
- your mate got a PC
- etc

Your best bet .. .. stick it on a normal PC with the null cable, 120 seconds and sorted
