openbox s9 no channels. please help

Hi,

got one of these this morning and i'am going insane.
its not finding any channels. i have an old sly dish which is i use with a freesat hd box which works perectly. but the signal on the openbox is poor. streght 45% quality 5%
but on the freesat box there both around 90%.

i take it i'am correct in that both sly and freesat use 28.2 ?

Yes thats correct.

in regards to you having a issue with this open box S9. Well it might be that you are doing something wrong. Simply put it this way if you dish is mounted correctly and Aligned, then you should not have any issues when scanning on 28.2 E

Now I dont remember everything at the top of my head but this is what you should be doing:

Press menu > select the SAT list > scroll down and select 28.2E

Go to the icon with has a SAT DISH in the menu > select Single satelite > you should get these options > FTA: yes or no > scan> TV channels + radio

And so on

Then select Blind scan and see what the results are mate.
