I don't mind giving 0000 a go (someone also suggested 1000) but as I have a modded box, will it not lock me out as it will the third incorrect PIN ??
I've read that it locks out for 15min and then gives you 3 tries again but I'm not sure if a modded box will do this.

Any ideas ??

yes it will, 0000 failing that you have been told the options.

4000 not my area but perhaps others can confirm if there is a jumper that can be removed and pin reset in eng menu?

If I need to reset the PIN can someone please give me a step-by-step tut on how to do this.
I don't have any card programmers/readers.
I have a Di 4000-T with ATMega.
It is an ex-TW area.

dabhog when you go into the em does the pin show ---- if so set you desired pin when done do not forget to press services to confirm change this should activate the pin other wise it will revert to ---- pin not activated. pretty sure this is correct if somebody could please confirm.

k2 i dont know if urs has a jumper, wait till someone confirms,im not sure net id resets itself either so PLEASE WAIT.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> if it does turn box of at powerpoint, remove lid, remove jumper for about 2 mins replace power up again and go into eng menu and on page something pin should show ---- using vol up down and chanell up down input a number press services to save and it should show **** then reboot and when asked put in your pin.

Please could someone confirm if:
1. Di 4000-T has a jumper
2. If ex-TW (Northwood, Middx) will automatically reset Net ID.

if its saying pin not activated you need to go into engineers menu and set and save a new pin
Or if you go guide-all channels-favourites-set favourites. Now check and then uncheck all your movie channels and porn channels if you like that sort of thing!
Then hit TV, now flick onto 401 and you should have all the movie channels.

It has a PIN code .... I just don't know it.
I've now tried 0000, 1000, 4000, 1111, 1234 and 9999.
Any other possibilities ??

ie. Does the 4000 have a jumper ? and does ex-TW reset Net ID ?

Yes 4000 has a red jumper but wont set net id, you will need to reset with net id v2 files or similar on a fun card, you need a programmer and bk and ird.
