Default Starview new service

Theres a man whos offering to get starview back online but hes asking for £40 pound, a mate told me about this, il try an get more detail on how it works. If anyone else has got info on this please post

I'd be happy to pay a monthly fee to get cable back on my HD combo, if the price was right of course. Surely he would have to provide new firmware to connect to a new server?

There may be a backdoor that allows the IP address to be changed via the remote. Such a facility would make sense to allow for the situation where a real server IP is compromised.

Not sure what the actual server protocol is but it may be a standard protocol or maybe a slight variance only. You would need to log the protocol to find out (which, of course, you probably cant do cos the server is down)

i heard next week the starview will be on but it could be A ROUMOUR the other forum is reporting this to.
