Then take a look for one of these,
![]() HP Compaq TC1100 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Its a HP tc1100 touch screen tablet pc.. has 10.4 inch screen, upto 2 gig ram (mine has a gig) 60 gig hard drive, bluetooth and wifi built in, couple of USB ports. Strictly speaking its not a touch screen as you might find on your phone or such like, instead of using a finger tip you use a pen.. Also has a nearly full size keyboard which is detachable, you can also use to landscape or portrait.. Really is a decent bit of kit, picked one up for the wife, does everything your laptop would do, more importantly it runs windows and will handle flash! the wifes is running on xp tablet edition.. although it can run win 7 vista etc.. all she wanted it for was facebook games.. 99% of netbooks are pretty crap tbh.. these can be bought for £100-£200 quid.. Now considering these things were discontinued in 2005 (i think) they do everything and more than the ipad! I have used it and its bloody brilliant.. So if you looking for something for the wife or kids and all they want it for is browsing streaming facebook flash games and the likes of but dont fancy ipad prices (which cant do half the things these can do) then get on ebay! cant praise these enough they really are that good.. baffles me how these are knocking on 7 years old and there are other similar devices out there yet everyone thinks the ipad is revolutionary device! (wife bought a samsung nc130 netbook and it was pants wouldnt even run flash games.. really slow browsing, all netbooks are basically same inside, crap atom cpu) Best thing is.. stops the wife from hogging my laptop!
