the pace 4001 box i have always shows tune on the display and the "sorry to interrupt your viewing" screen" i've done a couple of boxes recently with no probs? do you think the box is goosed?

kize did you pull the red jumper as lincsat suggested or did you just leave it on untill it sorted itself i seem to have the same problem with the box i have (pace 4001) cheers

hi kwacker, no i just left that box on and went to work and it was on filmflex when i returned.
but i have another 4001 box that just stays on tune even after removing the jumper. i've tried another tuner in it also? |

ps box has been on for about a half hour,any idea how long yours was on before you went to work,just to give me rough idea how long to leave it on for cheers mate ![]()

very strange? just had another go with that pace box i'd gave up on a few weeks ago(i had it on for 4/5 days)... and on it came after only half an hour.
thanks kwacker ps kwacker. try holding the channel down button on the box turn on the power until it reboots,then power off and back on again thats wot i just did mate. good luck:-)Last edited by the kize; 11-05-07 at 09:48 PM. |

right tried the reboot as suggested held the button down the word boot comes up for a second then nothing except the standby light,the remote does nothing.turn off then on back to tune and sorry to....blah blah blah...ps how long does it usually say boot? cheers mate.

this is the sequence i did-power off the box, press the down button on the box, power on the box you will get boot on the box display, keep holding until you get the ntl screen and then it says starting in the bottom right of the screen, you will then get a message saying something like- your channels are unavailable, press sellect on your remote you should have 0 on the box display, turn the box off and on again then just leave it on and wait?

yeah im getting nothing like that mines just says boot for a sec then jumps to standby (well the standby comes on)and stops.... doh
