even stealing a modems mac is stealing so why is stealing the certs any more of a crime and how do the cable company know if u have directly tampered with a modem and whats the chance of them even checking anyway ive been on 5 months with a direct clone what are other peoples views on this please !!!

it simply goes against the first rule of the cable hack

never tamper with subbed gear.

I have a subbed modem, i've not even been into the 192 page. ever.

just out of intrest, how far away are you using this sub clone from the original modem location is it in the same ubr or a neighbouring ubr etc etc
