Yes it does. The green is solid. However, the orange is solid for a approx 3 seconds, flickers and then solid for 3 more seconds. It sometimes flickers more with long periods of solid spells.

- take it round to your #5 mate and try it there on his known~to~be~good cabling !
- using the remote can you [ using the MENU button ] see your network / software version ?

- taking your splitter [s] and other carp out of the equation won't help, your issue is the box has all the channels but cant see the net to decode them mate.
- "" orange is solid for a approx 3 seconds "" is the normal [ perpetual ] three second poll where the box [ child ] is looking for its parent

I took it to my friend's place. Factory reset and connected up. Still the same. Many thanks for your help chaps.

I received the replacement today. Flashed and working as expected.

Another reason why it is always a good idea to buy from reputable sellers.
