It doesn't do this. If the last channel is fta, it displays the channel straight away. On other channels, it displays the channel details at the bottom of the screen and then "scrambled or no video".

Yes it does. The green is solid. However, the orange is solid for a approx 3 seconds, flickers and then solid for 3 more seconds. It sometimes flickers more with long periods of solid spells.

- take it round to your #5 mate and try it there on his known~to~be~good cabling !
- using the remote can you [ using the MENU button ] see your network / software version ?

- taking your splitter [s] and other carp out of the equation won't help, your issue is the box has all the channels but cant see the net to decode them mate.

I took it to my friend's place. Factory reset and connected up. Still the same. Many thanks for your help chaps.
