Default scanning for macs on windows 7

is it me or it seems that scanning for macs only seems to work on windows xp ? I am using windows 7 and have tried various other machines using vista and windows 7 and have no luck scanning for mac address if anyone is successfully scanning macs on windows 7 please upload the tool you are using thank you.

dhcp sniffer also working fine on windows 7 as is every other scanner i've tried....are you using a direct connection to your modem? or maybe your security/firewall is blocking it.

Yup direct connection, I never go through a router

(SORTED GOT IT WORKING USED MACSNIFF)
