Default Which home cinema ?

Hi guys
Just looking for some opinions
I have a 50" Samsung plasma HD ready TV. (spiderbox sat and V cable!)
I have 2 reasonably priced home cinema kits that have good reviews in mind.
a) Sony BDVE370 5.1 ch
b) Samsung HT-C5500 5.1Ch

Price wise, I can get both new (but shop demos) at just over £200 each!
They are both broadly the same, I just dont know if I should get the Samsung to match the TV? or the sony because of its reputation and the fact that it can be upgraded to 3D ???
Any thoughts would be appreciated!!! Thanks

both near enough the same.. all down to person preferences

samsung pro's & con's : has usb port for viewing dixv/avi file... is not 3D updatable for future proof (however in order for 3D viewing u may need to buy a 3DTV)

sony pro's & con's : what hifi award winner 2010.. vague description regarding the usb port for watching divx/avi/mkv file unlike the samsung.

if i had to choose, i'd choose sony as i've heard good thing about this BR player.. but having said that the samsung would compliment your 50" plasma nicely lol... decision decision lol

as for speakers the world is your oyster , how good are your ears ?

i use kef speakers atm , but in the past ive use onkyo , b&w , moudant short and some others to great effect .
