What is that supposed to mean? I did remove the mains plug but the box was still dead! I did not post for help as I had already fixed it! I posted to help others that may have the same problem in the future!

- no you did not .. .. read your own #4, you re-flashed and re-scanned.

- you did not say you pulled it off the mains just that you switched it off
- you'd be amazed at the amount of people who think switching off at the remote will allow the EEprom to re-boot
- it won't without a ' cold ' boot

further to my original post. My box did have a fault, I returned it to the nice man I got it off and it was repaired.
working fine now.
