Default Hi, new to this so very basic advice needed please

just moving into a brand new flat so a lot of this may seem basic.

I am just about to get a new tv but also thinking of getting a euro-vox, starbox etc

which one is the best & do I have to sign up to sky or ntl/virgin 1st?

If so should I just get the basic package?

The build itself has connection to sky I think but I havent spoke to anyone yet about any of the packages.

The eurovox will not work with sky. From what iv been told you dont need to sign to a package as long as you have a internet service with virgin/telewest. I have the basic package with virgin just to be on the safe side. If the house has a telewest cable running into it just try the box first you never know the cable might be active.(As for the sky i dont thing you can use a eurovox)

It's always better to subscribe to something so they don't disconnect the cable feed.

cheers mate, I live in a block of flats so any chance this could just work off a communal aerial?

Plus how long do these boxes usually last for?

Thanks again.

you need a cable connection...not sky, not communal aerial.
