After reading through lots of cable labs documentation I've noticed that CVC's are an optional extra and therefore I'd like to remove one from a new VM firmware I'm currently looking at to prevent any issues that might arise from it's presence.

I've found the CVC entry in the firmware but I'm unsure what I want to remove to ensure the firmware is still good with only the CVC edited out.

I'm continuing to read up on this but any help from somebody with the experience would really help out here.
