a little advice please

im trying to move from vm to sky but they have told me because of a factory accross from my house it wont get a signal so what are my options

If you cannot get line of site from anywhere on your house then you will need to stick with VM! or burn down the factory! lol joke

Sky installers often don't have the time or inclination to try to overcome this type of problem. I would suggest that you either try and think about it yourself (look at dishpointer.com and you can ask questions here) or get an independent installer to have a look for you. I have been to a number of properties where sky said not possible, but have managed to get a signal without too much effort.
