VM Superhub

I wonder if anyone can help me please? I own the VM account at my parents and have just upgraded to 30mb. I was sent a Superhub which I don't need as I previously had 50mb then dropped to 10mb so my modem is capable of 30mb and I have perfectly adequate wireless already. I live with my girlfriend who has 10mb and we want to upgrade. As I didn't want to have to wait for a new Superhub to be sent out I asked VM if I could take mine over to my girlfriends and upgrade straightaway and they said yes.

I plugged the modem in today and it gets a connection but if you browse the internet you have to activate it. I spoke to VM to ask to be upgraded and they said yes well send the signal. They sent the 50mb signal to the old 10mb modem instead even though I told them I had already swapped it. They did not ask for the new mac address of the modem and told me we would need an engineer installation so we now have to wait 3 weeks for an engineer to come out.

Could anyone tell me if they can just upgrade the line to 30mb or does it need a techie. I know they should have asked for the mac address at least but I could not get anyone to understand.

Yes they can keep at them just phone till you get 1 that will help you and tell them you didnt have thge modem on when they sent the last commands..... Mine came in the post and took about 30 mins 2 get mine up and running as soon as it in they can do everything from the HQ...
