Default how to enter url of photos ??

Hi guys i have a few photos i would like to ask you a few questions about but i can't upload them to the forums because a message keeps asking me : "please enter the url of your image " !! i undrestand that i have first to upload my photos to a certain site then direct the forumers to that site but i don't know the procedure to do that as it must be the case for many other forumers !! so i wonder if there will be any volunteers to help us and explainthat detail how we could do that !! and thanks in advance .

Step 1 upload the pic 2 the site ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

step 2 when it has done the upload it will give you a list of links and you copy and paste the link you want...ie forum codes in2 the post on any forum...

I just put the images on the desktop.Then browse for them,and upload them.It only works on techwatch though.
Sorry read it wrong i'm thinking computers.

If you mean how do you add an image to a website, you need to set it like this:

[img]urlhere[/img]

The link for the image below would be http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSuYALSO2mGRPz4AHot1nbMg3HdVIaU7 AAyBIdAQRpXkoe-QVFi
(plus the [img] and [/img] formatting codes in the correct places, the URL would go in between like I have shown above).

Yes you can do it like that if the pic is off the net but off your pc/lappy you will need 2 do it from that site...

You do not have to upload your pictures to another website before posting them here.

Do you get the same options as attached in the screen print I'm posting when you click on "go advanced" and then "manage attachments"?

You are able to upload your photos onto techwatch as I've just done provided they are of the right dimensions based on your format of pictures. (Unless there are restrictions based on number of posts.) You select your file in the section with the red arrow, click on "upload" and then "close this window" at the top when you are done.

It never works for me so i just use that site as its easy 2 do...

have a go of doing a pic and not a screen shot and see if it works for you ???

thanks everyone for your answers ! you are really helpful !! i used the method in post 2 as it provides redimensioning the photo if necessary .. !! once again thanks everybody !!!
