oh. i did have a quick look at versions but went for this self activating crack thingie i've used before.

anyway, its took ok but obv not ideal as it aint my license. once i've found the drivers for it which is a bit of a mission because its a cheapo lappy, i'll look at doing it all again with (hopefully) a legit xp with the number on the sticker.

in this day and age i should just be able to put the serial into ms's site and download a all in one usb xp+drivers self flashdrive installation image.

instead im waiting 2hrs from some poxy website for the wlan drivers for the bloody thing
