Default Upgrade to Vista?

Anyone here thinking of "Upgrading" to Vista?

Got to admit, don't see the point of it - the only selling point seems to be better graphics, but is that really something worth running through hardware upgrade and software conflict hassles for?

Got to admit, my next PC will be either an Apple or a Linux at present.

I won't switch to Vista unless I absolutely HAVE to because they no longer support XP. I just won't do it. It's pointless for me.

I'm seriously thinking about an Apple, as well. That's what I learned on, and it's really what I prefer. They're not as cheap as PC, though, so I've got a PC.

I have decided not to. I am happy with what have and like Brian said I just don't feeling like dealing with what won't work with Vista and what will.

I was running a development Vista system for around a year, now switched back to XP. Major hassles with hardware and software compatibilty issues. My advice is stick with XP for the time being...

I am so glad I have decided to wait. I have seen nothing but mixed reviews on Vista. I guess I will wait and see for awhile longer. Doing fine with my XP.

Cool Re: Upgrade to Vista?

I'm running a couple of VMWare test systems on it. I like some of the new features for example the ability to use usb flash drives as system memory. Not sure I'll be upgrading my home pc just yet though. Drivers and compatability as some of the guys have already said are still a worry.

XP SP2 patched up and set up is as good as any.
